Nottingham Forest, struggling to stay alive in the League Championship (currently in 23rd place, 6 points from safety), have appointed Greg Megson as their new manager. Megson succeeds Joe Kinnear, and was most recently enconsed at West Brom where he was sacked following the revelation that he planned to leave the club upon completion of his contract later this year.

Megson, who played for Everton, Norwich, Sheffield United and Newcastle, has had managerial stints at Norwich, Blackpool and Stoke as well.

I think Megson is a decent manager. Forest are going to do well under Megson I think.
