Mets In A Hole, Glavine Held The Shovel

Posted in Baseball at 12:26 pm by

Marlins 7, Mets 0 (bottom of the first)

Tom Glavine’s line for the day : 37 pitches, 0.1 IP, 7 earned runs, 5 hits, 2 walks, 1 HBP.

Steve Traschel was just on the phone — he’s very hopeful his former teammate isn’t going through any marital problems.

God damn, that was pretty fucking lame.

  2. Rog says:

Wow, the most depressing game I’ve ever seen. And why the NY Mess didn’t throw at any of the Marlins hitters after they broke Delgado’s hand, I’ll never understand. On the bright side, the playoffs are gonna be really fucking good this year.

the isiah trial was just too much of a distraction for the mets to overcome

  4. Tom Glavine’s ERA for the day: (7 / 1/3) x 9 = 189.0

    Go back to Atlanta, asshole.

  5. Marc says:

Glavine is going to get a standing ovation at his first home start for Atlanta next season.

I hope when he plays the Mets, Ollie Perez drills him in the ribs. Repeatedly. Ollie is good at that.
