The standard of the starting pitching on display this evening in Flushing has been nothing short of diabolical.

And Jeremi Gonzalez looks pretty bad, too.

There’s heavy action up here on who will make an appearance first, Scott Proctor or Aaron Heilman.

Still, the “A-Rod Blows Jeter” chants, while not quite as robust as those in Kenmore Square, are loud enough to make me hope Phil Mushnick’s children aren’t within earshot. More on this fascinating cultural event later.
