The Vermont Frost Heaves and the Manchester Millrats played a game Saturday in Vermont as part of the American Basketball Association schedule.  The ABA’s mantra is “fan-friendly basketball at affordable prices.”  They may want to change that, in the wake of three brawls in the middle of a single game – brawls that involved the coaching staff and a sucker-punch to the back of the head of one player, all caught on video tape.

Indeed, it does sound like a rather chippy affair. Though with 3 fights in one night, I’d agree with Chuck that the Frost Heaves need a better slogan.  Perhaps, “We’re In Vermont – What Else Are You Gonna Do?”
