Yesterday’s 28-21 loss to Chicago took a heavy toll on the Giants. New York have lost both of their starting defensive ends, Michael Strahan (torn pectoral muscle) and Keith Washington (torn ACL, left knee) for the remainder of the regular season. Chris Russo, MD of WFAN helpfully reminded listeners that Strahan might be back for the playoffs, but didn’t specify if that meant playing or offering lame pre-game commentary.

Jets QB Chad Pennington will miss the next 2-4 weeks after straining his right rotator cuff in yesterday’s 22-17 defeat at the hands of the Bills.
