Earlier today on WFAN, Evan Roberts voiced the reasonable opinion the New York Times’ sports section “was the best in New York”. “Really? Isn’t it a bit antiseptic?” wondered co-host Joe Benigno-Gazingo, who upon being told The Gray Lady, while not much for “gossip”, “had lots of information”, replied thusly :
“I dunno….if there’s no big glossy picture on the front, I can’t read it.”
“Look at the Post today…there’s a big picture of Elliot Spitzer’s old girlfriend.”
