An incredible 15,000 + turned out at the Palace Of Auburn Hills last night to watch 47 year old Tommy Hearns defeat a tomato can named Shannon Landberg via a 10th round TKO.
Even harder to believe was Hearns’ son, middleweight Ronald, knocking out Kirk Douglas (above) on the undercard. Observers say they haven’t seen anyone hit that hard at the Palace since Jermaine O’Neal decked a Pistons fan named Charlie Haddad.
