Of CFTO sports anchor Lance Brown‘s brutal evisceration of the 2011-12 Toronto Maple Leafs (above), The Globe & Mail’s Bruce Dowbiggin asks, “isn’t the cri de coeur of the aggrieved fan what Twitter and blogging are for?” Perhaps, but if Brown’s “personal outrage bordered on the petulant”, it’s fair to presume the paying customers (and common Twitterati/ blogger scum) are every bit as pissed off, yet not in a position to hold the likes of Dion Phaneuf’s skates to the fire. Not on camera, anyway.
