The only thing surprising about the story below is that the names Mark Gastineau, Randall “Tex” Cobb and Jose Canseco appear to be thoroughly uninvolved. From KYW’s Pat Loeb :
Damon Feldman of Broomall, Pa. used the term “celebrity” loosely in promoting matches featuring, among others, Lindsay Lohan’s father and WYSP morning man Danny Bonaduce.
But Nils Fredericksen, spokesman for the Pennsylvania attorney general’s office, says Feldman (right) used the term “boxing match” even more loosely:
“We allege that Mr. Feldman was actually involved in rigging the fights, in fixing who was going to win and who was going to lose.”
Fredericksen says Feldman also violated boxing rules about safety and that boxers were knocked out and didn’t receive proper medical care.
