According to the Celtics sideline reporter, the sign is actually something Pierce has been flashing since the start of the season, & is supposed to mean “blood, sweat, & tears” (not the band, sadly). I’d like to think it actually means, “fuck the refs until they can actually figure out the difference between a charge and a block.”
