Career criminal Daniel “Tokyo” Gatson was acquitted of kidnapping charges yesterday in Saddle River, NJ, but was found guilty on lesser charges of burgalry. The following item from the Bergen Record’s Kibret Markos mentions another outstanding felony that Gatson is charged with.

He is also awaiting trial on charges that he broke into the home of former NBA star Patrick Ewing in 1999. Authorities say Gatson and an accomplice stole more than $300,000 in property from the Englewood Cliffs home, including two luxury cars, gold watches, a diamond bracelet, a fur coat and Ewing’s 1984 collegiate national championship ring.
