I saw Dow Jones and the Industrials play a benefit show in Indianapolis in 2003, and the band sounded as full of piss and vinegar as ever, especially when they were arguing because Brad Garton’s laptop wasn’t syncing early on. Sadly, the benefit was supposed to help drummer Tim North pay for his stomach cancer treatments, but he died about a week before the show. He was supposed to play, too. In other news, I don’t know where Brad “Mr. Science” Garton is getting his Indy 500 tickets this year, because his dad was tossed out as a state senator/Senate Pro Team after 30-plus years last election.
