Former heavyweight champion Larry Holmes said he would like to teach Nuggets forward Anthony how to box and not get hit, according to Holmes Enterprises spokesman Jay Newman in an e-mail. Anthony was suspended for 15 games after throwing a punch in the Nuggets-Knicks game Dec. 16. He has been doing some boxing to keep in shape while suspended.

“Larry will train Carmelo if he wants to learn how to box,” Newman said.
