Apparently, Jason Kidd is taking a page out of the Paul Lo Duca “No Distractions” handbook, according to the New York Post’s Fred Kerber, Jeanie McIntosh, and Kate Sheehy (link taken from The Feed)
Joumana Kidd, 34, has been furious over Jason’s frequent nights out in New York City, sources claim.
“It’s a mess, and it’s been going on for a while,” one source close to the All-Star point guard said of the pair’s latest marital discord.
The hoopster plans to counter his wife’s claims with a domestic-violence complaint and restraining order against her, the source said.
It was unclear what the complaint involved.
The seven-time NBA All-Star reportedly headed straight from practice yesterday to the Bergen County Courthouse to launch his offensive against his sexy wife, a beer-ad model-turned- celebrity journalist.
Two police cars remained parked outside the family’s home in tony Saddle River, N.J., last night, as tight-lipped officers spent more than two hours inside.
One of the final straws for Jason Kidd likely came after his wife showed up at a Net game at the Meadowlands taunting him from the sidelines while flailing about with a cellphone in her hands, several sources said.

(USA Today has more on this unfortunate story. Jason, Carl Everett just called. Don’t worry, he’ll watch the kids.)
I’ve been waiting patiently for you to make some type of Joumana Kidd/Juwanna Mann pun but, alas, you have not. Let the record show that a Joumana Mann reference would be waaay less lame than that Wevie Stonder crap, which doesn’t even make sense.
sorry, Rog. I have far too much regard for the comedy classic “Juwanna Mann” (certainly “The Crying Game” of the WNBA, or at least the “ladybugs” of basketball) to sully it with any association to domestic violence.
You are already on the record as disliking the Wevie Stonder I / II thing, It’s my own personal homage to a) Jeff Weaver’s Spicolli-ish visage (and half-baked personal history), as well as a nod to one of the Skam label’s most celebrated talents.
I promise I’ll stop using it as soon as the Weaver brothers retire or die.
