The University of Miami football locker room has a new name: Dwayne ”The Rock” Johnson Locker Room.
Actor, wrestler and former Miami Hurricane defensive lineman Dwayne ”The Rock” Johnson and his wife, Dany Garcia Johnson, donated $1 million to the University of Miami Tuesday morning as part of the ongoing Football Facilities Renovation Fund. In recognition of the gift, the locker room will be renamed after Johnson.
Johnson, a former backup at defensive tackle to star Warren Sapp, played at UM from 1991 to 1994. His wife and business partner — the two separated in June — rowed for UM at the same time.
And so much for Yale (not even Drama School, I guess):
Dany Garcia Johnson said their 6-year-old will attend Miami.
