Apparently, designing a classic sleeve for Glenn Branca is not nearly enough status recognition for Vancouver netminder Roberto Luongo. The former Isles G was recently named the Canucks’ captain, though NHL rules prohibit the captain’s “C” from appearing on a goalie’s jersey. As Sean Leahy of Going Five Hole points out, Luongo’s found a way around these restrictions.
