You had to figure it was just a matter of hours before Mark Cuban responded to Phil Jackson’s post-game moaning from Tuesday night.

From Blog Maverick :

I Own Phil Jackson.

Not literally of course. That thrill belongs to the smartest businesswoman in professional sports, Jeannie Buss. Figuratively however, the coach formerly known as the Zen Master must now be considered my bucket boy.

For whatever reason, I have gotten to Phil so completely and thoroughly that every time he comes to Dallas he has to offer unsolicited comments about me to the media. I wonder if he dreams about me the nights he spends here in Dallas. Ok, I dont wonder. I’m curious about it.

I think there’s only one way for Phil to respond : start a blog, give “Bubble” a bad review.

Jackson’s Lakers beat the Rockets in Houston tonight, 89-78. Kobe had 32 and more incredibly, Brian Cook got enough shots to score 27 points.

The Knicks, no doubt stymied by Bruce Ratner’s Cubanesque grasp on the officials, were held without a field goal for nearly 12 minutes during the 4th quarter of Wednesday’s 96-83 loss to New Jersey.

I was very confused how James Dolan managed to score such terrific tickets for the Grammy Awards. That is, until someone pointed out that it was really Dave Grohl.
