I’ve not called the Elias Koteas Sports Bureau yet, but I’m curious if Harry Redknapp is the first manager to have won an FA Cup semi-final within 5 months of being arrested by the fraud squad.
Earlier today, Cardiff eliminated Barnsley, 1-0, on a 9th minute header from Joe Ledley. Again, there’s not much record of whether or not Dave Jones is the first or second manager to have successfully reached the Final within a decade of being charged with child abuse, but if this is a new achievement, we’d do well to consider that Graham Rix is still relatively young.
