The AP is reporting that embattled NY Jets offensive coordinator Paul Hackett, currently catching mucho heat for the Jets’ failure to move the ball further downfield in the closing moments of regulation in Saturday’s 20-17 playoff loss to Pittsburgh, has resigned.
With Wayne Chrebet likely having played his last game as a Jet, there will obviously be further changes over the summer. For one, I don’t think Lamont Jordan will be competing for the starting QB job.
They’ve *already* hired a replacement, Titans offensive coordinator Mike Heimerdinger.
