Shortly after the Royals’ 3-1 loss to Blue Jays, Kansas City manager Tony Pena tendered his resignation last night.
Kansas City were 8-25 after last night’s defeat, the worst record in the American League. In a little more than three years, Pena, the 2003 AL Manager Of The Year, posted a won-loss record of 198-285.
