A breakout night for Kurt Thomas (above), Wednesday, scoring 16 points and collecting 15 rebounds and 3 blocks en route to the Knicks’ 86-79 win over the hapless, injury-riddled Hornets. New Orleans sank to 1-16 ; they’re 0-9 on their home floor.
SG Allan Houston is expected back on Friday for New York, and aside from opening up the floor for the rest of the squad, hopefully it will go some way towards reducing Jamal Crawford’s shots per game. I’m not big on prayer, but Allan’s a religious guy so he can do the praying for me.
I wasn’t aware unto tonight that George Lynch was still in the league, nor did I know how hard to would be to find a decent Dokken jpg on short notice.
Recently reactivated Nets point guard Jason Kidd has supposedly threatened not to report to Portland if swapped to the Trailblazers. So maybe the Sprewell/Kidd deal still has some life in it.
