Slam Magazine helpfully compiled a succession of provocative tweets from NBA players, with results that ranged from the celebratory (“Obama’s words are earth moving and inspiring” gushed LeBron James) the analytical (Jason Richardson asking, “now that we have confirmed deaths on both Bin Laden and Saddam a few yrs ago, can they bring all of our troops home now?”) to the downright jaded (“ahh good old politics, nothing worse could blow up my Twitter feed” groused Australia’s Andrew Bogut).
