The New York Daily News’ Bob Raissman reported yesterday the Mets’ SNY channel has hired additional on-air talent including Ch.2’s Gary Apple, ESPN’s Steve Berthiaume, CNN’s Steve Overmeyer and Miami Heat studio hostess Julie Donaldson.
The hiring of Donaldson, the 2001 Miss Florida, is yet another blow to Anita Bryant, who can’t seem to catch a break from any major league ballclub.
