The NY Post’s Marc Berman reports the Knicks have interest in the recently dumped Eddie Robinson.

The Knicks have called to express interest in Eddie Robinson, who was bought out by the Bulls yesterday.

The underachieving swingman was nearly included in the Jamal Crawford package last August but both Robinson and Shandon Anderson were taken out of the deal at the last moment. If the Knicks sign Robinson they’d likely have to complete the buyout of the disgruntled Anderson.

76ers forward Glenn Robinson will miss tonight’s opener against Boston, having received permission to return to Chicago for a family matter. Hoops Hype is reporting that the Sixers, stymied in their attempts to find a taker for the Big Dog, will seek to buy him out of his remaining contract
