No similar announcements of new pacts for members of the Washington Nationals – also 12-1 over their last 13 at RFK – but perhaps some kind of class action apology / Candygram could be sent to the attention of Nick Johnson, who is not only deserving of a spot on the NL All-Star team, but can serve as a daily reminder that the Javier Vazquez deal wasn’t nearly as lopsided in the Yankees’ favor as was originally thought.
