From the NY Daily News’ Bob Raissman.
Atlanta baseball sources say Hall of Famer Don Sutton, the longtime Braves analyst on TBS, is on a short list of SNY candidates.
Sutton, sources said, has already talked to SNY brass about the possibility of becoming the network’s primary Mets analyst.
Last week, after he signed Cohen, SNY boss Jon Litner said the network could name its Mets analyst within two week.
Don Sutton…why? Keith Hernadez is the perfect guy for SNY.
What about Fran Healy? He’s a fanatastic analyst and has been with the team for two decades. Mets fans love him. Don Sutton is a horrible analyst. Say it ain’t so.
yes, Mets fans love Fran Healy. Love him to death. There must be at least, I dunno, 3 or 4 Mets fans who consider him a member of their family. They’re all named Healy, by the way.
