The Boston Herald’s Gerry Callahan is reporting that as part of their pitch to woo Roger Clemens back to Fenway, the Red Sox are preparing an inspirational video of sorts, designed to tug at the Rocket’s hearstrings.
I think we can rest comfortably, knowing the Red Sox are just one Larry Lifeless testimonial away from adding Clemens to their rotation.
Nice little aside from Callahan here, who might not have a future in film criticism ;
Give the Sox credit for trying: They don™t need Clemens. With or without him, they are still hipper and trendier than gay movies.
