There’s an anniversary of a tragic event coming up this week, one that I shouldn’t even have to remind you of.
Much the way our parents and grandparents can remember exactly what they were doing when they learned of JFK’s assasination or the death of Wally Cox, the murder of Pantera guitarist Dimebag Darrell Abbott left deep, deep scars on a generation.
With this in mind, Billboard reports the following :
A pair of non-musical Dimebag-related items are on the horizon: a collectable sculpture figure from KnuckleBonz, Inc. and an official clothing line, Dimebag Hardware. Additionally, Dean Guitars is issuing a limited edition run of its Dimebag Darrell USA Guitar.
Right, I was born in 1982, so I can’t appreciate this either, but I’m guessing you’re being tounge-in-cheek because here in NYC there’s just a liiiiitle but of coverage of Thursday’s 25th anniversary. The Daily News yesterday had quotes from people saying outside of 9/11/01, 12/8/80 was the most traumatic day in modern NYC. Really?
huh. I guess the Daily News has something against Pantera fans, then.
