While some omissions (Bob Gamere, Tony Schiavone) are more excusable than others (Bill King), the prominent placements of the younger Buck and Boomer are right up there with Jethro Tull’s “Best Metal Album” Grammy and Marisa Tomei’s Best Supporting Actress Oscar.  The respective fan club presidents  for Myron Cope and Joe Bowen have undoubtedly begun their letter writing campaigns ; the same might be said of John Sterling, the only question being whether or not the Yankee mouthpiece will sign his own name.
