Spain’s Sevilla have purchased Tottenham striker Fredi Kanoute for a £4.4 million transfer fee.
The former West Ham striker Kanoute (above), 27, is the second major acquisition for the La Liga side in the past week following Javier Saviola’s arrival from Barcelona on loan. Over the summer, Sevilla also splashed out for Porto striker Luis Fabiano, Valencia goalkeeper Andres Palop and Juventus midfielder Enzo Maresca.
