While CBS was all too willing to show a Focus On The Family  advertisement starring Pam Tebow and her forward-pass-challenged spawn, Fox will not be airing the commercial below tomorrow evening. From CBS Washington’s Chuck Carroll :

The National Congress of American Indians has unveiled a two-minute anti-Redskins advertisement and is encouraging activists and fans alike to push the team to change its name.

“This week’s celebration of football is exactly why we need to keep talking about the D.C. mascot,” the NCAI tells Indian Country Today Media Network. “Cheering for a football team should never include the casual use of a racial slur. It is important for all teams and all of their fans that the name of the D.C. team is changed.”

The video caught the attention of current city councilmember, and former mayor, Marion Barry who publicly called on team owner Daniel Snyder to change the franchise name in a series of tweets Friday morning.

“Dan, just as I hate the N word, & you hate the K word, they do NOT want 2 be slurred either. U can afford 2 do this. It will be your legacy,” a tweet from Barry read.
