The online auction site eBay plans to remove a listing by a Staten Island resident trying to sell Ku Klux Klan figurines, an eBay official said.
The starting bid for each of the crude clay “KKK Snowmen and Snow-women” was $13.77. The figurines feature removable white pointy hoods, the ad said.
“He is in his white gown (some people like to call them sheets) and hood, which is removable for your viewing pleasure,” the seller states in the sales pitch. eBay didn’t identify the seller.
As of Thursday night, no bid had been placed for the items.
