Ch. 4’s website is reporting that Peterborogh manager Mark Wright (above) “has been suspended pending an internal investigation. The former England defender has been told to stay away from London Road by owner Barry Fry amid reports of a bust-up behind the scenes. ” This all sounds very euphamistic, so I’ll let the Black Information Link fill in the gaps.

Peterborough manager has been suspended for allegedly racially abusing youth star Sean St Leger.

In 2001 Mr Wright quit as manager of Oxford United after being accused of racially abusing referee Joe Ross, but continues to claim he did not make any offensive remarks.

He also left Chester City in acrimonious circumstances in 2004 despite success on the field.
