Winger Ilya Kovalchuk, whose 87 points (41 goals, 45 assists) put him in a three way tie for the NHL’s scoring crown in ’03/04 with Jerome Iginla and Rick Nash, has signed a 5 year, $32 million deal to stay with the Atlanta Thrashers.

Kovalchuk’s holdout has been well documented by the state of Connecticut’s most esteemed man of letters, Brushback.
