This reminds me, I purchased some Emanuel Lewis rookie cards on eBay from some guy from Santa Barbara….and they’re all stuck together!

I worked on this card, and I want to point out two things:
1) The text I sent to production only had one exclamation point. We are going to get sued by !!! now, and I DID warn people about this.
2) At least we avoided the embarrassing situation of the NY Post and Daily News. Both tabloids ran with the same headline on the same day: “Boy, Oh Boy.” The commas were even in the same place. Although, to be fair to Rupe Murdoch’s Post, they were the only paper in New York to run the headline “Sweat, Freak” when the jury went into deliberations. And they’re sure the only one that would be proud of that.
sorry, “Boy, Oh Boy”? I don’t get it.
The NY tabs can occasionally sneak under the subtlety radar, I know. I think they were going to run the same headline if he was convicted. It’s hard to believe that neither could come up with a better headline, though, and also hard to believe that they’d both come up with the same lame one. Jacko (Moon)Walks! Never Laid A Glove On Him! Courtroom Thriller! Is it that hard, people?
But if you were seriously wondering, I’m pretty sure the headline has something to do with the boy-touching bit.
Class move that sets the NY Post apart: a small picture of Macaulay Culkin’s Home Alone scream as an insert (ugh, word choice) on the lower left. Nice!
one of the Chicago tabs opted for “HE BEAT IT”
