While June 7 marks the birthday of Prince Rogers Nelson, Dean Martin and Paul Gauguin, I’m sorry to say that once again, I’ve fucked up royally. No effort whatsoever was made to acknowledge the June 2 birthday of Lydia Lunch, an oversight for which I cannot apologize profusely enough.
For years, persons across this great land of ours have campaigned tirelessly to have Ms. Lunch’s birthday declared a National Holiday. Since I did absolutely nothing constructive that morning or afternoon, I feel like I’ve celebrated without the rest of you, and for that, I feel just a little guilty.
