Dear CSTB,
Today I got in my car and turned on the radio. Dan Patrick (above) was on the radio. He was talking. He was talking about a band. This band he was talking about was a new band he said he had been listening to in the car every day. The band he mentioned was called Arcade Of Fire. Do you know anything about this band? Could he have been thinking of Articles Of Faith? It is an easy mistake to make.
Yrs,
Jon Solomon
Hard to say, Jon. But if Vic Bondi could become a frequent visitor to Dan’s show much the way Darius Rucker and Adam Duritz were back in the day, I can see the ratings going through the roof.
shouldn’t this question be asked on mac’s sports blog?
ha, ha. very funny. The fact of the matter is, Johnny Stiff has been ghost-blogging for a noted NYC based “access free” website and there is no greater testament to sports knowledge and fine musical taste going hand in hand.
The Arcade Fire are a great band. You have to listen to “Rebellion (Lies)”
It’s a shame that interleague play arrived as late as it did, denying Chicago our chance for an Articles Of Faith/Effigies crosstown classic series.
if it makes you feel any better, w., you can always think of the series that just ended as Really Red vs. “Cold Life” – era Ministry. Actually, I don’t know why that would make anyone on earth feel better (except for Barbara Bush, a big Really Red fan) so maybe we should forget the whole thing and do as Norbert says. Check out the Arcade Fire, everyone! Dan Patrick loves ’em!
this arcade of fire, do they play the rock and roll?
