The near term future of the Seattle Sonics is bit brighter today, G Ray Allen having agreed to a 5 year, $80 million extension. Whether or not retaining the UConn product will be enough to sway coach Nate McMillan, supposedly weighing an offer from Portland, remains to be seen.
