Either way, the firing of Washington head coach Jim Zorn early today will disappoint no one, except for perhaps John Riggins, who might never find such an easy target over the rest of his commentary career. Zorn was reportedly given his walking papers at 4:30 am, a move that suggests Dan Snyder hoped to introduce Mike Shanahan has his new coach as soon as possible.
