After what the Washington Times described as a home invasion, Redskins safety Sean Taylor (above, right), injured since early November, has been hospitalized in Miami after being shot in the groin. The Miami Herald reports that Taylor, currently in critical condition at Ryder Trauma Center, might’ve seen his house broken into for the third time in the past week.

Taylor’s attorney, Mark Sharpstein, claims “there were a number of people who were jealous of Sean’s success.”

Taylor, the 5th overall pick in the 2004 draft,  leads Washington this season with 5 interceptions.
