Why is it Baltimore gets such a slice of the Nationals’ income for moving into their territory but the Dodgers get nothing from Peter Moreno’s “Los Angeles Angels?” The MLB scoreboards now list the Halos “LAA” or “LA Angels” and the Dodgers as “LAD” “LA Dodgers” like the Cubs/Sox “CHC” and “CHW.” If teams no longer have to actually move to cities to play for them, I can see a future where Spike Lee and Larry King’s dream of a Brooklyn Dodgers is reality — and awesome stadium deals for all involved.
