The AP is reporting former Bears/Lions head coach Dick Jauron has accepted Buffalo’s offer to become their new taskmaster.
Jauron compiled a 35-46 record in 5 seasons with Chicago, including a 13-3 finish in 2001. And most importantly, he’s already received training in how to operate defibrillation paddles in the event Marv Levy or Ralph Wilson keel over.
In the NFC Championship, midway through the 2nd quarter, Seattle are leading Caroline, 20-7. The Seahakws’ Matt Hasselbeck — fresh from having Kendra Davis gesture manically in his face — is 10 for 12 passing thus far, while the Panthers’ Jake Delhomme has been picked off twice. Seattle’s Shaun Alexander already has 76 yards rushing (with one TD) with more than half the game to play. This is shaping up to be one of biggest disappointments for John Fox since the initial reviews for ‘The Garden’ came in.
its a shame that marv levy passed up james lofton for a head-coaching job. this is like frank “third” reich finding st peter at the gates and being told, “i am sorry, you didnt have a severly retard son that everyone in buffalo says happened because you beat your wife. you can’t get in.”
It took some doing, but I think we have the most questionable CSTB comment of all time.
that’s extra creepy.
