Scott’s Shots mentioned that the Can-Am League’s North Shore Spirit plans to give away a bobblehead doll featuring the likeness of Spirit manager (and longtime Red Sox utilityman) John Kennedy (above).
Not to be outdone, the indie Fort Worth Cats of the Central Baseball League have announced a similar promotion involving a bobblehead doll of CBS News anchor Bob Schiffer, along with the retirement of Sparky Anderson’s number 1.
Presumably, the Lee Harvey Oswald bobblehead will have to wait until 2007.
