I eschewed ABC’s presentation of the Scripps Spelling Bee Thursday evening, mostly because of the LeBron Clinic, but partially because I don’t believe Mike Golic is a proper influence on children. I don’t know if The Feed’s Josh Alper would concur, but he did hang in there long enough to witness Stuart Scott’s post-Bee interview with 2007 Champ Evan O’Dorney.

Scott: Would you like to, maybe, reassess your likability of the National Spelling Bee?

O’Dorney stares blankly, no doubt trying not to look at the eye, while trying to figure out what Scott’s question might mean in English.

Scott: How do you feel about it now?

O’Dorney: Are you saying I’m supposed to like it more?
