Two mornings after watching rookie Alexander Ovechkin add to his growing legend with a ridiculous, sliding-on-his back goal against Phoenix (above) , the Capitals got some more good news Wednesday. From TSN :

A judge in Washington, D.C., has dismissed a lawsuit by Moscow Dynamo to have Capitals’ star Alexander Ovechkin returned to the Russian League team.

In July, Ovechkin met a deadline to exercise an option to end his 2005-06 contract with another Russian club, Avangard Omsk, so he could join the Capitals. His previous club, Dynamo Moscow, claimed that it matched Avangard Omsk’s offer to Ovechkin but without a release option clause. Ovechkin played three years for Dynamo Moscow.
