From the forthcoming “Children’s (And Grown-Ups’) Letters To Can’t Stop The Bleeding” :
Hey, it’s Will Leitch, the new guy at Deadspin. Saw your post today; thanks for the happy linkage, if that’s the term people are using (I am — shhh! — new to this blog game). Wanted to let you know that I’m a big fan of your site, and will certainly be throwing much love your direction. If the throwing of love is not something that will cause either of us physical pain.
But anyway: Hi. I’m Will. Let’s be friends!
Best,
Will
Dear Will,
Your love brings me such a thrill
But your love won’t pay my bills
I want money.
Money don’t get everything it’s true
What it don’t get I can’t use.
I want money.
Until Alex Reimer’s televised appearence schedule starts showing up on Deadspin, my loyalty remains with thee, CSTB.
thanks, Jon. If Leno can do for Alex what Jimmy Kimmel did for Andy Milonakis….well, quite frankly, Stephen A. Smith might be out of a job.
Im not sure whether to jump ship to Deadspin yet, or stick around these parts. Sure, CSTB has the street cred and all, but I alway have a spot in my heart for the underdog.
I’d like to know where each of the candidates stand on the following issues:
1) Phil Mushnick
2) Velvet Revolver
3) Phil Mushnick
I will make my announcement in the coming weeks.

WHEW!…good thing I only stick to baseball!
I saw “The road to bristol” linked here weeks ago. and the mlbblogs have been trashed on cstb, yard work, etc. Is deadspin coming from a timezone 3 months behind everyone else?
strange how deadpsin doesn’t promote itself as a Gawker media site on its front page, as other Gawker sites do. Ah, CSTB… you’ll always be the one for me…
