A sequel to the 2010 Matador compilation ‘Casual Victim Pile’, The lazily entitled ‘Casual Victim Pile II’ (12XU) assembles 18 songs (15 of ’em unavailable on vinyl, 14 unavailable in any other form) from a lineup including OBN III’s, Cruddy, Rayon Beach, A Giant Dog, Women In Prison, Simple Circuit, Naw Dude, Crisis Hotlines, Coma In Algiers, Sally Crewe & The Sudden Moves, The Dead Space, Expensive Shit, The French Inhales, Hatchet Wound, Literature, Serious Tracers, Bottle Service and The Zoltars. Released on Feb. 22, the CVP II auction includes the following items :
1) an unplayed white label test pressing of ‘Casual Victim Pile II’ – only 5 were manufactured.
2) a copy of the commercially available ‘Casual Victim Pile II’ LP on white vinyl (180gr.), sleeves screenprinted by Obsolete Industries of Austin, TX
3) a coupon for a digital download of the album, available in variety of formats (320 mp3, FLAC, WAV, etc.)
4) a 3-day pass to the ‘CVP II’ 3-nights at Beerland, taking place between March 3-5 and featuring all 18 bands on the album (you must be 21 or over for entry)
