If he’s willing/able to play second base, I don’t see any reason why the Mets shouldn’t take a chance on him. Intact groin or no, he’s a step up from Miguel Cairo.
if the bosox deal manny and have some lattitude in regards to who they can sign i wonder if he’d man the keystone for the boston? they haven’t given away his #5 yet have they? he’s still living in charlestown right?
