It’s become nearly impossible to find anyone who can excuse the behavior of Clippers owner Donald Sterling (well, aside from Greg Dulli), and while the once-progressive David Stern has routinely turned a blind eye to transgressions such as Sterling’s casting couch, unfair practices as a landlord or recent public abuse of Baron Davis, good luck ignoring the following details from Elgin Baylor’s wrongful termination suit, as revealed by ESPN’s J.J. Adande :

“While ignoring my suggestions and isolating me from decisions customarily reserved for general managers, the Clippers attempted to place the blame for the team’s failures on me,” Baylor said in the declaration. “During this same period, players Sam Cassell, Elton Brand and Corey Maggette complained to me that DONALD STERLING would bring women into the locker room after games, while the players were showering, and make comments such as, ‘Look at those beautiful black bodies.’ I brought this to Sterling’s attention, but he continued to bring women into the locker room.”

It’s pretty fucked up, right?  Even worse, there’s no evidence the would-be plantation owner advised women to avert their gaze from the terrifying face of Chris Kamen.
