Howard Eskin’s side of the story (from WIP.com), along with some yuck-yuck acknowledgement that some of the print media refused to identify the mysterious man who antagonized the Phillies’ manager.

Ahh Howard Eskin. A bigger ego does not exist in this world.
I think it’s great that Eskin’s going to get a chance to develop a sitcom based on the work he did in those Geico ads, but he really needs to give the Phils a fair chance to get it together.
Like him or hate him, everything that Eskin said was right.
How many years have the Phillies needed to improve the bullpen?
How many years have we seen bases loaded and no runs?
The Phils went 4-0 after this fiasco. If the coach can’t give them a kick in the butt, maybe someone else should!!
